BioHelmut is the only child of Colton and Vanelle Eismeer. He was born in Graska, the capital of the Kooluk Empire and his family was a member of the noble class. His father spent much of his time in the Kooluk Navy because like many of his ancestors, seamanship was in his blood. Helmut's mother died when he was still young, and with his father at sea all the time, he was mostly raised by servants. When he was old enough, he applied to the military academy and was accepted. Determined to make his father (now a Commodore in the Navy) proud, he has been working to live up to his name.
Before being brought to Toran Castle, he was in his final year of the academy and working on a patrol ship. He is now 17 years old, and last remembers it being the spring of IS 297.
